We’ve created something really special and it’s finally ready to share with you.

This new e-book is a collaboration between me, Teo Byrne and Jade Farrington, a neurodivergent therapist and counsellor. We're both multiply neurodivergent and both fascinated by the messy, beautiful ways our brains and bodies experience the world.

Over time, we’ve each come to realise that joy isn’t always loud. Safety doesn’t always look calm. Connection isn’t always social. But they do exist. And when we started noticing those little glimmers everything began to shift. This resource was born from that shift.

Inside, we explore what glimmers really mean for our community in a grounded, practical and deeply affirming way. You’ll find tools, reflections, prompts and personal accounts that invite you to:

🌱 Notice the small things that help you feel safe and soothed

🌀 Understand why your nervous system reacts the way it does

🔎 Discover what brings you comfort, joy or regulation even if it’s unconventional

💛 Reclaim experiences of pleasure, presence and connection on your own terms

The feedback we received from our neurokin has been a glimmer in itself!

"What a glimmer of a read. So helpful to understand what gives us regulation, joy, calm, safety. Fantastic resource, thank you Jade and Teo." - Bex Milgate Psychotherapy And Psychoeducation

"This exciting and grounded guide about glimmers speaks directly to our neurodivergent bodyminds, It offers practical information and an affirming space to notice what feels good, what feels possible, and what brings us back to ourselves. Teo and Jade have created something really joyful and validating, a lovely invitation to honour our sensory ways of being, to explore joy without pressure, and to recognise that glimmers, however small or strange they may seem to others, matter and need to be embraced. Wonderful glimmery work - highly recommended reading - a glimmer in itself!" - Helen Autistic Realms

"Reading this resource felt like a deep exhale I didn’t know I was holding. A Neurodivergent Approach to Embracing Your Glimmers is more than just a simple e-book or workbook, it's a companion.

It speaks in the kind of gentle, validating tone that feels like a trusted friend sitting beside you, reminding you that your experiences matter, your joys are real, and your nervous system isn’t broken, it has just been surviving.

I especially value how Teo Byrne and Jade Farrington move beyond a superficial discussion of glimmers. Instead, they encourage a deep exploration of what truly brings us joy as a path back to our authentic selves.

This resource invites us to slow down, tune into our bodies and minds, and reclaim experiences of safety and joy in ways that feel right for us. Their integration of sensory profiles, somatics, neurodiversity-affirming approaches, and shame recovery reflects a profound understanding of what it means to navigate a world that often misinterprets or pathologises neurodivergent experiences.

Embracing Your Glimmers is about tuning into what soothes us, grounds us, and gives us permission to feel good. Whether it's fairy lights, moss in the forest, a cup of tea made with care, or the small miracle of a clean bed, this guide reminds us that glimmers are everywhere when we learn how to look. And if you're not sure of your own glimmers yet, that's okay too. There are examples to support each person on their own journey of discovery, offering ideas for noticing and journaling.

This was a beautiful, gentle read that I’ll return to often. If you’re neurodivergent or wish to share this with someone who is, it is a deeply nourishing resource." - Helen Daniel - Autism and ND Support Practitioner

“Oh, what a wonderful glimmer reading through this and imagining the impact it could have! I genuinely believe in the powerful, positive impact glimmers can have for our bodymind. When feeling overwhelmed by life as a neurodivergent person surrounded by neuronormative expectations and pressures, glimmers offer a small but welcome reprieve. This is a beautifully presented, thoughtfully crafted booklet that I wholeheartedly recommend!” - Jess Garner , GROVE Neurodivergent Mentoring & Education

"Teo and Jade have created a gentle, reflective guide that helps readers reconnect with themselves and find joy in small moments. I really appreciated the iterative prompts and thoughtful pages devoted to safety and sensory connection. This ebook is sure to be a supportive resource for many." - Laura Hellfeld Neurodivergent Nurse Consulting
